+1 Wyze -1 Mao

Wyze flowed with the melody and beat in an overall smoother way then Mao. I loved Wyze when Mao came into flow it sort of disrupted it. I vote for WYZE.

Excellent !!!

FL Studio is showing off its orchestral capabilities more and more, I use Fl Studio also myself.
(backtoreviewCough...)
Anyhow I couldn't spot anything wrong after listening to the song 5 times in a row. Its just that good. If the perfect vocals could be inserted I wouldn't be less amazed if some good female vocals in a jazz style 70-80's could somehow blend into the song HA!
With over a 100 patterns you must have a Great System...^_^
Blah I'm rambling all over the place in this review anyhow GREAT JOB.

Oh yeah, I don't get why so many people think FL Studio can't make orchestral. I've been making orchestral for months with FL Studio. I admit it's not the best (Cubase and Sonar are probably better) but it's not as bad as people make it look like.

"Anyhow I couldn't spot anything wrong after listening to the song 5 times in a row. Its just that good."

Haha, thank you. I, on the other hand, can mention plenty of things that are wrong with it, but I don't have the musical capability to fix them :3.

DAMMIT, what is this 70's vibe that everyone speaks of? I'm not hearing it, haha.

Well, a large amount of patterns won't hog too much CPU I think. It's when loads of patterns (instruments) play together that the CPU hogging starts. But I have some pretty decent specs, yeah. Total opposite of my (now dead) old computer. That thing was a dinosaur.

Thanks again for the great review. I appreciate it a lot!

Reasons for musical war.

Excitement and renewal of spirit enraged continuous of evolutionary revolutionary progress.
For you Delinquent musical war is your flame it causes you to progress amongst the others in your style it allows you to progress further then the competition to be battled against causes a one sided torch to be lit. (hum Hum Hum) (ha-ha this beat made me make a sick review ha-ha) 10/10 5/5 nothing less can be giving to any of your tracks. ^___^

I love War

I never really new oldskool hiphop

Till I heard you, all of your tracks stand out sample based or not the flows the style its just great sounding overall. Cause of you Ive fallen in love with oldskool hiphop. This track is really good. No cons I can think of. Its so good that it can be heard over and over like most of your tracks and not get boring.

Beats my old remake by a trillion years!

Youve accomplished what I had always wanted how ever for me this song deserves more "BOOMBASTIC" roaring monk chanting indian chanting kabloooshness to it that Ill never get till I can do it myself.. how ever your remake does come close... ^_^ .

Heavy Clipping.

Dynamics make a song, it's quality would be better if the master volume and entire track wasn't Squashed to bits. Lower the volume levels of all the tracks Don't let it go above 0Db (Decibels)

I am in love with your unique mixes!!!

Absolutely love them all haha.. this song has like no flaws its done so well. Figured I review being there was no reviews. HAHA ^_^

Trance/Dance

Is the general vibe its giving off to me, The beat of the drums could be varied a tad to give the song some variation. The melody to me if its what you were going for fits just fine to me no variation is needed but easily could be done with some mini "fill in's" like small drops here and there. The end was little too harsh though for me. And after the harshness was over the ending gives a sort of empty vibe it sort of to me needs some filling in. The whole song to me needs some more atmosphere and frequency fill in to a point of complimenting the main lead and bass. Along with some more umph to the kick (some widening in the stereo field and some EQ boosting of the main kick (35-65Hertz Range)) I would say. Well after a 3rd listen through that's all the criticism I can think of to say to make the song better.

Missing something!

I can definitely see how you envisioned a forest and the melody represented it. To me though I would add some bass instruments possibly a nice violin and cello and those could be the bass-line. Being I have a 2.1 speaker system even with my sub-woofer on max I hear no bass lol
Its barely present. Hmm lets see improvements time o3o

1. Possibly add some bass elements.
2.I noticed the song is mainly panned to the left speakers adding some bass in the center and another flute or flutes to the right of the song could fill the songs atmosphere more so.
Other then those 2 I guess not much else to improve to it being the only other things that could be done is make it into a full flesh and body song. But has a loop its still alright. Has for uses I can think of many that flash makers could use it in

Thanks for the comments :)

Very Intriging!

The 3 segments appear to me after a second listen through. Here is what I get from it.
1. 1st segment -an Uproar of emotion bursting through (first 30 seconds).
2. 2nd segment -thinking more thoroughly (40 seconds to 1:30).
3. 3rd segment -compromise and resolution. (1:40 to end)

It almost doesn't need a transition but adding one with those 3 emotional effects might assist you in how to transgress from the 3 pieces.

I think adding some more strings and maybe some strong punchy percussion might adding to the song has a whole but only with the ensemble sections the solo quiet sections should stay. That's pretty much all I can think of it hope it helps.

VooDooCompositions responds:

Thank you! I was actually thinking the same about the percussion, but as a string player it's hard to progress out of my comfort zone sometimes (I'm especially intimidated by Brass). But, I do enjoy a good percussion section. Thank you for your review! It is greatly appreciated.
